Organic farming has undergone major changes both in the world than in Tunisia. Tunisia has paid special attention to the development of organic farming and in particular the organic olive oil. However, Tunisian exporters are confronted with growing competition on the world market and the challenge will be to support national operators and to strengthen their capacity to become more competitive and they seize the opportunities present in the market International. In this context, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax has created the olive oil bio cell in the CCIS. Through this cell, the CCIS has the ambition to develop the organic olive oil sector in the region and throughout Tunisia. Interest in this sector is justified by the potential of Tunisian producers and dynamism of the global market which is characterized by increasing demand.
